Persian Butter - “Rip Out Your Spine”
This is the second collaborative video from Persian butter and Cardigan! For this video PB showed me a couple different songs and when I heard “Rip Out Your Spine” the thought of making a horror inspired video immediately popped into my head. So I gave the song a bunch of listens then got to making a mini script along with a storyboard. Just for the outfit I’ve always been a fan of the look of Jason Voorhees from the 2nd Friday the 13th movie so I wanted to mimic that in the video. Everything kind of just came very naturally since the video features Ducky, another local Santa Cruz artist. We ended up shooting the video all in one night at various locations and this is what came from that night!
